NECC Announcement: The Northeast Claiborne Charter School 2021-22 recruitment period will be open from Monday, February 1 until March 1, 2021. •Students who reside in Claiborne Parish, Union Parish, and Lincoln Parish, Louisiana may apply for admission to NECC. Availability is limited. •Those who are presently enrolled will be automatically accepted for the 2021-2022 school year with a completed application. •Those who were on the waiting list will need to reapply. •Applications will be received by online submission only. •Submitting an application does not guarantee charter acceptance. JCSD-NECC Important Announcement concerning tonight's basketball games at Woodlawn. The junior boys and both senior Dragon teams play beginning at 5pm. WOODLAWN COVID ADMITTANCE RULES: •No Vouchers. •The first 27 Dragon Fans will be admitted regardless of age. •As fans leave, more will be admitted but there will be no more than 27 Dragon Fans in the stands at any one time. •This does not include those with AAA passes or players.

JCSD-NECC Announcement: Due to a shortage of drivers today, Mr. Davis’s bus will pickup elementary students at 2:45 at the awning in front of 4-6 building then pickup 7-12 students in front of high school and then return for Mr. Tommy’s students at regular loading time.

The junior girls and both senior Dragon teams play in Fordyce beginning at 5pm. ***Fordyce Covid Rules: Absolutely NO students PreK-12th grade will be admitted into the gym with the exception of basketball players. Only persons 18 years and older will be admitted. ID's will be checked at the door. ***

JCSD-NECC REMINDER TO BUSINESS OWNERS AND INDUSTRY LEADERS: Tomorrow, Friday January 22 is the deadline to submit videos. Due to covid, JCHS will not be able to sponsor a career fair for our students to attend. Instead, we will create a Career Fair video. This video will give students and parents a better understanding of requirements and opportunities in our community by giving information on entry level qualifications for companies and different career paths students could take. Please send any short employee promotional videos of your business to Ms. Deneen Miller at millerd@jcdragons.k12.ar.us. If you are unable to email the digital file, please bring your video by the JCHS office. Depending on length of video, only parts of your video may be used. This is a great opportunity for everyone in our community and surrounding area to view your business and what it offers for employees. The DSN wants to encourage our sponsors and advertisers to participate in this very important career fair!
