ALL SENIORS will take pictures. Cap/gown
and tux/drape are the only poses that will be taken. These pictures are for the yearbook
and newspapers. Boys will begin at 8:00am in the MPR. Girls need to be at school ready
by 9:30am. No money is needed.

The Educator Effectiveness/Licensure Division at the Arkansas Department of Education under the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education wishes to create an advisory team to provide on-going collaboration to our division. This will be an opportunity for a diverse group to provide input and feedback on recommendations and decisions that impact educators statewide. We realize the importance of seeking input and feedback from our educators, parents, community members and leaders, as well as, our students. This advisory team will consist of stakeholders who voluntarily help develop ideas and tasks to recruit and retain effective teachers in all classrooms across Arkansas. JCSD will dismiss at 2:30pm on Friday Aug. 30. Elementary will load buses at 2:20pm and high school at 2:30pm. School will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day.

FBLA ANNOUNCEMENT!
FBLA forms and dues are due to Mrs. Carelock, Friday, September 13. Jr High is $26 and High School (9-12) is $28. Mrs. Carelock has quite a few forms that need the dues to accompany them. The fall conferences are separate this year for each age group. Jr High will travel to Arkadelphia on Tuesday Oct 8. High School will travel to Hope on Wednesday, Oct 9. More information will follow soon.
