While completing contact tracing for the Bernice bus route, all students who ride the bus should log in virtually via Google classroom. Bus route should resume Thursday, October 1.
Message from Principal Hill:
JCES is opened to onsite instructions. We will continue to run regular bus routes.
To be completely transparent, at JCES we have only 1 student who has tested positive for COVID-19. We have 6 staff and 15 students who are quarantined for close contact. At JCES our commitment is to our students, faculty, and staff. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines in an effort to keep our JCES family safe. Thanks for your support as we continue to tread these unchartered waters.

JCSD-NECC Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, September 29: School will dismiss at 2:30. There will not be traditional onsite parent teacher conferences. Virtual, phone, or email P/T conferences only. Parents are encouraged to pre-schedule conferences with teachers via email or text.

Hey Dragon Fans! While on the road to Blytheville, the DSN crew decided it would not be Friday without football so instead of coming back to the Bordertown, the DSN is teaming up with 42 Sports to bring you the Clarendon/Fordyce game! JCSD-NECC Urgent Message: Because of a confirmed Covid-19 positive case of a member of our football team and additional positive contacts among some of the players, tonight’s football game in Blytheville is canceled. Representatives of the Arkansas Department of Health are conducting contact tracing and affected students will be identified and contacted as soon as possible.
JCSD Important Message: Mr. Davis’s in town route will run at 2:45 today so that we can cover all afternoon bus routes.

REMINDER: Deadline to order your 2020-21 Dragon Yearbook for $40 is tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 25. Cost will increase to $45 after tomorrow.
Jr. Dragons host Bearden tonight at 7pm! Pep Rally time has been changed to 2:30pm between the Jr. & Sr. high buildings.

REMINDER! JCHS FBLA is selling this year's homecoming shirts. Rosters for football, cheer and band will be on the back. They are $20 each or $22 for extended sizes. Please return form and money to Mrs. Carelock by October 8. Homecoming is October 23.
