JCSD-NECC HOMECOMING DAY FESTIVITIES: (Due to CDC/ADH regulations regarding Covid-19, we are unable to have a parade.) •The Homecoming pep rally will be held on the football field Friday at 12:30pm unless the weather forecast changes. •We will begin busing K-12 students over to the field at 12:05. K-6 will sit on the grass around the homecoming court. The pep rally should be over by 2:00pm. (Please be aware: In the event of rain, the pep rally will be moved to the gym but social distancing guidelines will cause us to drastically limit the number of spectators.) •We will load buses for school dismissal at 2:30pm. •Pregame festivities begin at 6:15pm on the field. •Tickets to the game will be available for purchase Wednesday morning in the JCHS office and will also be available at the gate until the Covid regulation maximum capacity is met. The Junction City School District has one elementary staff member and one high school staff member positive for Covid-19. ADH contact tracing is complete and all close contacts have been notified. No student quarantines are advised since no students meet the criteria for close contact. JCSD is not pivoting to virtual instruction in any grade level at this time. There is an increase in community cases and all should remain vigilant. If parents choose to isolate their children, please contact your building office about signing up for virtual education.
