JCSD will dismiss at 2:30pm tomorrow, Friday Aug. 30. Elementary will load buses at 2:20pm and high school at 2:30pm. School will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day.

The Educator Effectiveness/Licensure Division at the Arkansas Department of Education under the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education wishes to create an advisory team to provide on-going collaboration to our division. This will be an opportunity for a diverse group to provide input and feedback on recommendations and decisions that impact educators statewide. We realize the importance of seeking input and feedback from our educators, parents, community members and leaders, as well as, our students. This advisory team will consist of stakeholders who voluntarily help develop ideas and tasks to recruit and retain effective teachers in all classrooms across Arkansas.
