The Junction City School District/NECC is starting a backpack food program to provide our homeless students in severe need with snacks and meals for the weekends and other non-school hours.
This program is not school funded and is strictly supported by volunteers and donations. Food will be collected in boxes in each classroom in elementary and in the office at high school. Food may be dropped off by parents directly at the nurse’s office. For more information contact the homeless liaison, Rebekah West at 870-899-4046.
